This naughty-but-nice Grenache bursts with aromatics, flavor and good spirits displaying the dynamic volcanic and granite soil she’s grown in. Warm spices, with rose jam, macerated strawberries, Italian plum, and orange blossoms abound on the nose. Black cherry, tangerine peel, tarragon, vanilla cream soda, and licorice tickle the taste-buds. There’s a harmony of herbal and fruity and grippy tannins pull everything together for a long, playful and finish. Alban clone, sustainably grown at 2850 feet. Fermented 25% whole cluster and lovingly lady-foot-stomped for maximum phenolics. Aged in neutral French oak barrels.
