From a privately owned vineyard, farmed and managed by Prudy Foxx. Picked on 09/15/21 at 23 brix. The fruit was hand picked and sorted, 84% de-stemmed and left 16% whole cluster for native fermentation. 19 months aging in neutral French oak; un-fined and un-filtered. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black currant and fresh green peppercorn, with mulberry, earth and mocha on the palate. Medium bodied, grippy tannins.
